Get to Know Earl D Coobs and Our Creative Journey

Earl D. Coobs was born and raised in Northeast lowa, where the rolling hills and small-town values shaped his worldview and storytelling sensibility. For five decades, he carved out a living as a professional truck driver, logging millions of miles across America’s highways and byways. During those long stretches on the road, Earl became an avid listener of audiobooks, consuming hundreds of hours of stories across every genre imaginable. As the miles rolled by and the narratives unfolded through his speakers, his own stories began to take shape in his mind-tales he carried with him for years, waiting for the right time to share them with the world. Now, at 68 and retired from the trucking life, Earl has finally brought those long-gestating stories to the page. Bus Number 43: The Midday Run represents the culmination of decades of imagination, observation, and the unique perspective gained from a life spent traversing the American landscape.
